Completed Katakana [Day 56]

Just a quick update: after 5 days of writing Katakana every day, even with a busy schedule like mine. I’ve finally remembered all the characters! It feels great to reach this milestone.

Here are some thoughts on the journey:

  • Writing Katakana feels easier than Hiragana for me. Maybe it’s the sharper, more angular strokes or just familiarity from seeing it used in loanwords.
  • Despite the busy days, dedicating a little time daily really helped cement the characters in my memory.
  • I’m excited to start using Katakana more actively, especially since it’s so common in everyday Japanese for foreign words, names, and onomatopoeia.
  • I’m totally feeling so good after remember cheet sheet.

Next up, I plan to focus on expanding vocabulary and practicing reading simple Katakana words in context. It feels motivating to see steady progress!

How about you? Have you found Katakana easier or harder than Hiragana? Let me know your experience!

I founded the good picture to review Hiragana and Katakana now :
